Longhorn Awakening
Longhorn Awakening is a retreat held every semester by students, for students. It is held in Jarrell, Texas, about 45 minutes north of Austin.
Spend a weekend getting to know other Catholics
Longhorn Awakening is a great way to spend a weekend with God away from everything. It is also a great way to meet other Catholic students. We play host to a maximum of 63 retreatants and 100 staffers (former retreatants) each semester with talks, activities, and amazing community. Questions? Contact awakening@utcatholic.org.

Theme: “Now is the Time to Go Through the Door”
Where: Cursillo Center in Jarrell, Texas (a few miles north of Georgetown)

If you are coming to Longhorn Awakening 48:
Meet at the University Catholic Center NO LATER THAN 4:15 pm on Friday, March 5. We will be carpooling from the UCC to the Cursillo Center and back. We will return to the UCC by about 5 pm on Sunday. You must stay the entire weekend.
Things to Bring
* Bedding: pillow, sheets, and blanket or sleeping bag (you will be staying in rooms with beds and mattresses)
* Personal items: TOWEL and toiletries, shower shoes (flip flops you can get wet)!
* Appropriate clothing: check the weather, we will be spending some time outside
No cars can be left in the UCC parking lot during the weekend – you will be towed!!
You will be served dinner upon arrival in Jarrell, so don’t stop along the way or you will be late!!!
