Welcome to our home on the web. We welcome everyone who desires a relationship with God to come and join us in worship. If you have any questions about us that you can't find answers to on our website, then please feel free to send us an email. There are many student and community organizations that call the University Catholic Center (UCC) their home.

For those Catholics out there (and even non-Catholics!) that are looking for a place to call home, please come by and check us out, we're just south of the main UT Tower at the end of the South Mall (in front of Little Field Fountain). We hope that you'll find our sense of family and community appealing and welcoming and that you'll join us in our journey of faith.

About Us

The University Catholic Center is a nonprofit religious organization, and member of the Diocese of Austin. The Center was established to serve the students on The University of Texas at Austin campus as well as faculty, staff, alumni and resident community members. We seek to foster spiritual and intellectual growth in the university setting. By encouraging students to take active roles in liturgy, volunteer work, and social justice projects, the Center staff prepares these young people to become leaders in the larger Catholic community and to raise families in the Catholic Christian tradition. Student Groups

UCC Student Groups provide a great place to meet other students, serve the local community, and grow in your faith journey. If you can play a musical instrument, swing a hammer, root for the home team or just talk to someone in need, there is a Student Group at the UCC for you; whatever your level of involvement you're comfortable with. Spiritual Life

We invite you to celebrate the sacraments of the Catholic Church with us. Reconciliation is offered several times each week. A Confirmation program is scheduled every Spring semester. Baptisms are available as well as Matrimony and other Sacraments. Learn more about the sacraments we can celebrate together at the University Catholic Center.
