Paulists unveil new website
Wed Oct 18, 2006
The Paulist Fathers revealed a new website! With a new format and more content than before, the new Paulist.org is the starting point for finding out more about the community that serves the UCC.
The Paulist Fathers, founded in 1858 by Fr. Issac Hecker, give the Word a voice through modern means of communication and that tradition continues with the new paulist.org homepage With photographs of every foundation, more national office activities discussed and more in-depth history of the society, the new website expands upon what was previously on paulist.org.
In addition, two associated websites, paulisttalk.org and paulistnews.org have been launched. Paulist Talk is a blog by various members of the Paulist Fathers- all the way from Fr. John Duffy, President of the Paulist Fathers, to Rich Andre, a first-year student studying at St. Paul's College in Washington DC. Paulist News is the website of the Office of Media Relations with various press releases related to the society. Currently, you can read about the five novices that just began their journey with the Paulist Fathers. Lastly, The Catholic World, the Catholic journal founded in 1868 by Paulist Founder Fr. Issac Hecker and was published for 130 years following can be found new again in an online format.
All this is in addition to successful Busted Halo, the Paulist Young Adult Online Magazine answering spiritual questions for those in their 20s and 30s who may not be part of a faith community.
Check out these various ways the Paulist Fathers are giving the Word of God a voice through today's modern media.
