Complete Rules

The winner will choose one of the following prizes:
  • 2008 Volkswagen New Beetle
  • $15,000 Scholarship applicable to any post-high school academic endeavor.
The drawing will be held at the University Catholic Center in Austin, TX on December 6, 2007 at the St. Nicholas Party. Winner need not be present to win. Proceeds benefit the University Catholic Center at The University of Texas at Austin. All entries received after December 6, 2007 will be considered a donation. There is no limit on the number of tickets sold.
  • The 2008 VW New Beetle has a defined equipment package.
  • Any optional upgrades to the New Beetle are the responsibility of the winner.
  • If the winner chooses the New Beetle, the winner is responsible for Tax, Title, and License (TT&L). The winner is not entitled to any manufacturer or dealer rebate.
  • If the $15,000 Scholarship is chosen, it may be applied to trade school, undergraduate, graduate or non-traditional programs. Determination on applicability will be assessed by the Director of Campus Ministry at the University Catholic Center. The Scholarship may also be applied to pre-paid tuition accounts or outstanding student loans. The winner may delegate the award to family or friends. The University Catholic Center will be as flexible as the law allows in accommodating the way the winner would like to apply the scholarship funds.
  • Employees of the University Catholic Center, or their dependents, or their immediate family members dwelling in the same household are not eligible to win.
  • No donation necessary to enter the drawing. One ticket is available per household. Ticket may be obtained by written request only, stating “No Contribution” with a business size, self-addressed stamped envelope. All entries must contain name, mailing address and phone number to be valid.
  • If you would like ticket stubs returned to you, you must provide a business size, self-addressed stamped envelope. Otherwise, your portion of the ticket(s) will be held at the University Catholic Center.
Incentives will be awarded to University Catholic Center Student Organizations selling tickets:
  • The individual student with the greatest number of tickets sold will enjoy a reserved parking space at the University Catholic Center for the Spring Semester.
  • The second and third top-selling student organizations with the highest tickets sold will enjoy an ice cream social catered by Amy’s Ice Cream for the students who sold tickets.
  • The highest selling student organization will enjoy a “Night with Fr. Dave” pizza party at a local Austin venue for the students who sold tickets.
  • The highest selling student over the Thanksgiving holiday will receive an iPod Nano.
